Cluster Chunk Map for Minecraft 1.4.4

Ever since the release of skyblock, those types of survival maps have been immensely popular. Minecrafters all over reddit and youtube have been testing themselves to the limit. Another popular brand of map style is pvp based. However, I’m not sure if there has been much mix of the two. Done right, skyblock pvp style maps can be great. Introducing Cluster Chunk! Read on to find out why this brilliant invention could easily become the new thing.

Okay, this is how it works. See those 2 diamonds of random blocks? Those are the team bases. It’s 2 teams of four and you start out in those “cluster chunks”. They’re made out of literally every block in the game library. Pretty cool right? First thing for your team to do is to make sure you’ve all set your bed spawn, because that’s the main thing of the game. The goal is to destroy your opponents bed spawn, then knock them outta the game. The team with the last man standing wins. That’s the jist of it. Each cluster chunk gets a chest full of starting equipment. As you can see, there are other diamonds. These are the supply satellites. They contain precious supplies that could be anything, but are guarded by mob spawners of different types. So, that’s basically it.

From experience, I know that this map is a very fun one to play with your friends. The ingenious idea of trying to “cluster” together all these different block types into one diamonds, is something that I now can’t believe hasn’t been done before. It allows for many combinations of techniques to wipe out your opponent. The aesthetics of the map is quite well done as well. I think it all fits together nicely. Well… At first anyway. Eventually the map will literally be a cluster chunk. Full of random bridges and wreckages.

Over all, it’s an extremely fun map to play with your friends. I highly recommend you go download and try out this ingenious map as soon as possible.
