[1.6.2] Hostile Worlds Mod Download

Have you ever felt that your worlds are too safe?  Not randomly trying to eat your face enough?  Are you sick of your buildings not being spontaneously destroyed by a giant space rock?  This mod’s for you, then.  The first part of this mod are Meteorites.  Every once in a while a meteorite will come crashing down and destroy the landscape or your precious buildings.  Once they’ve landed, they open a portal to another dimension.  While you can’t enter it, monsters can come out of it, and they do.  Tons of them coming out in waves trying to inhabit your world, as theirs has become uninhabitable.  Once you figure out how to close the portal, they will stop coming.  The second part of this invasion are cave invasions.  Once the monsters have come in through a meteorite, they go into your caves and breed.  Good luck staying alive, you’ll need it.  It’s also worth noting that this mod changes difficulty based on a few different things.  One of them is your normal difficulty.  The next is your armour, and the last is how many waves have come from the same portal.  The difficulty raises their health, attack, and spawn rate.

Now that we’ve gotten the mechanics of the mod out of the way, let’s get onto the monsters that come out of these portals.  The zombie miner is the leader of the pack, able to dig out of all obstacles that you can.  He can dig staircases, as well.  He keeps the chunk he’s on loaded, as well, so he will always be actively digging.  This also causes him to not de-spawn.  The other invaders will follow him until they find their target, meaning that most of these won’t de-spawn, either.  The Zombie Invaders are the ones who will attack you, and also the ones who get spawned the most.  And, just in case you thought they’d be as helpless as normal zombies without a Miner leading them, they can stack on top of each other, and in open air if there’s an overhang.  These are some serious men here, and they want your world.  The Zombie Climber is a mob that isn’t currently added since he’s a work in progress.  When added he’ll be able to climb up anything and place ladders to help his friends up to places they couldn’t reach without them getting headaches.  Corosus also plans to add a dimension in eventually.
