The Farlanders Mod adds in a large variety of new Endermen that can trade with you. They can be found in many of the new structures that will now generate in your world. Be careful though, as some of them are not so friendly.

This mod also adds more Ender creatures to the game allowing the player to have more choices to trade, tame and enemies to battle. There is also a new village, armor, weapons and a couple more structures for you to find.

The villages are obviously different from typical villages but they are similar in design except they are built with primarily end stone. Usually nearby you’ll find Obsidian Towers. They’re made entirely of Obsidian and have a strong Ender Golem watching at the top. If you dig deep enough in you’ll find a chest or two with special items.

You may find Mystic Wands in one of these chests. They have special abilities like teleporting back to your spawn point, turning you invisible for a brief period, or turning stone or netherrack into a random ore.

There are many new mobs to interact, trade with and even tame with apples. Ranging from children to beastly Titans there’s definitely a new batch of friends or enemies right next door.

The titan is key to crafting Titan armor. By killing it and with its hide you’ll be able to craft new armor that gives you many new boosts. Now you’ll blend in perfectly with your newly discovered society.

Story

The Far Lands were the place where the Farlander species used to live but for a unknown reason these lands disappeared. Ancient books refer to this incident as the “work of God”. Some say that this “God” created his own realm and moved what was the Far Lands to there. Also, this “God” is described as a colossal being with large horns and limbs.

Centuries have passed since the disappearance of the Far Lands and the Farlanders had to adapt. They stopped praising what they once considered their “God” and started their own path. Eventually they reached the lands of the Overworld and from that point the Farlanders started to evolve. New species were born, among them was the Enderman, the Ender Golem and the Enderminion.

The Farlanders realized that to survive they needed protection from the other species so they began to create their own shelters. They began to build small huts but after discovering new materials they expanded and villages were created.

The evolution continued and with the discovery of Endumium Crystal they started to trade goods with each other. It wasn’t long until the start of the Rebellion era. Seeking to have more power the Farlanders began to rebel against each other. Those that had rebelled against their own kind were banished from their villages and were called Rebel Farlanders.

The Looters are really similar to the Farlanders but they are not quite as peaceful. The player can distinguish them from a Farlander because they don’t emit particles (unless they are carrying a sword). The reason behind his name is the simple fact that when the player fights a Looter, the Looter tends to steal the player’s weapon (sword) to use it against him!

They attack Farlanders , Elder Farlanders and the player. They run away from Ender Golems, Titans and Iron Golems . When a Looter steals a sword, he will start to emit particles (similar to a Farlander) and will open his mouth. His attack strength and defense will also increase depending on the sword.   • The Titan grabs the player for a few seconds then throws him in the air;
  • The Titan grabs the player for a longer time, under the effect of Confusion, then throws him in the air;
  • The Titan grabs the player even longer than the previous attack, under the effect of Confusion, Blindness and Weakness, and then throws him in the air.

Beware that while in the arms of the Titan, the player will be damaged, every second, with the Wither debuff! Although it says the player mounted the Titan, even if you press shift you won’t be able to dismount!
