[1.7.10] Mimicry Mod Download

Mimicry Mod incorporates mimichite, an ore that you can use to duplicate a large majority of other ores or craft any smelting recipe with double output. When you get mimichite, put one in the crafting grid with any type of ingot and it will consume the mimichite and give you two of the ingot.

It adds resource duplication, and heavily uses the Ore Dictionary features from Minecraft Forge to do so. The mod’s main resource is Mimichite, which can be combined with any smelt-able item to double it, or any dye to get more of that particular dye. Mimichite can spawn as an ore in the Overworld, the Nether, and the End.

This mod hooks into Ore Dictionary and Furnace Recipes to add a resource mimicry factor to Minecraft. Combine 1 mimichite in a crafting grid with any smeltable item and get double the output. Craft with any dye color to get more dye.

Mimic orb: 9 Mimichite

Mimic block: 81 Mimichite

Tier 0
Size 10×10 = 100 blocks
Fortune 0
Mimichite ore needed: 81+4×9+4×1=121 (1 stack + 57)
ores / block: 1,21

Tier 1
Size 12×12 = 144 blocks
Fortune I
Mimichite ore needed: 121+4×9+4×1=161 (2 stacks + 33)
ores / block: 1,12

Tier 2
Size 14×14 = 196 blocks
Fortune II
Mimichite ore needed: 161+6×9+2×1=217 (3 stacks + 25)
ores / block: 1,1

Tier 3
Size 16×16 = 256 blocks
Fortune III
Mimichite ore needed: 217+8×9=289 (4 stacks + 33)
ores / block: 1,12

Higher tier will require a lot more ores to craft, but the difference is not that big when looking at ores per active block. If you then consider Fortune into this, the highest tier is absolutely worth building. I would like to say that building the first tier is ok to use early for quick resources, but after that you should save material and go for highest tier. The ores/block ratio is best in tier 0, and tier 3 is better or as good as the other tiers. If you add up Fortune 3 on top of that I would say that tier 1 and 2 are not worth doing as soon as you have left tier 0.
