Crystal Storage Mod for Minecraft 1.4.5

This mod is very simple, however in many ways unique. This mod grants you the ability to create an orb which can then store the amount of EXP that your character holds.  crafting these orbs is an expensive task however the risk of loosing your hard earned EXP on death is extremely frustrating if the event does occur. For example if you have 5 EXP that you earned for whatever reason, you can then craft and orb and right click once holding it. The orb will then change, sucking all the EXP you control into the orb creating a level 5 EXP orb. If you have level 10 EXP you will then get a level 10 EXP orb. However these orbs cannot be edited once the EXP has been sucked into them. For example, if the orb is a level 5 orb, you cannot add anymore experience that you earn later on into that orb. Another problem is that the orbs are not mistakable  not even when they are in their first stage.

Crystal Storage Mod Version 1.6 for Minecraft 1.4.5 Changelogs

  • Updated to 1.4.5
  • New Sprites added

This mod can be incredibly useful on a hardcore adventure or survival map, instead of risking losing all of your EXP to another player or risking never finding it again deep in the caves of the underworld, you could simply craft an orb, store it and stash it away somewhere safe. The crafting recipe for the orbs are very simple, however they are quite pricy to craft. I would advise players to be sure they have at least 15 EXP before they insert it to the orb. To craft orbs you will need: Diamonds, and glass. Simple, but quite expensive for its job. Orbs can store up to 25Exp per orb.
