Custom Ore Generation Mod for Minecraft 1.4.2

There are many ore distribution mods out there, but this one has took what others have done an have improved it! Many mods such as this have their own (usually the creators) spin on it, and I think that the customization and unique nature of this particular mod separates from the rest; but enough of that, what does it actually do?

This mod allows the player to decide what ores are generated in their worlds (that’s right, just like a pic’n’mix) and also to decipher how they are arranged and colonized. This mod offers custom-written ‘vein’ and ‘cloud’ spreads.

What I think makes this mod different from the rest of the pack is the customization with the flexible config file. Every aspect of an ores dimension and placement can be played around with an can be custom built to a players taste! All of this can be tampered with through an in-game menu, which is extremely useful. If you want to look into all the detailed stuff, click here. However if you do not care about all that Mathematical mumbo-jumbo and only care about what it does, continue to read on!

How to Install Custom Ore Generation Mod for Minecraft 1.4.2

  1. This mod requires either MinecraftForge or ModLoader!
  2. Once you have installed either of the prerequisites from above download the mod from here; and place it in your .minecraft/mods folder. If you have installed everything correctly the mod should be working automatically!

This mod is custom-built to enhance player compatibilty and enjoyment in game! It is far from simple and all though is a very complex mod, works almost seamlessly within the game itself! I hope you have fallen in love with this mod, alot of hard work has gone into it and it shows!
