Ever rage quit on one of your single player worlds? Something didn’t go quite right and now you wish you could just destroy the whole world in the cruelest way possible? The Grey Goo mod by stevenrs11 adds a few different blocks that will spread and completely devour you world! It’s based upon a simple mechanic that modders have known for a while. A block that can make adjacent blocks turn into itself and then self destroy after a period of time. The Grey Goo mod is an expansion on this; adding a series of different blocks that have slightly different functions. I’ll go through some of the basic ones.
Green Goo
The most basic goo block. Crafted with two dirt blocks beside each other. This block will not really do anything. It won’t spread, it will just stop other goo blocks spreading. The only block in the game all the goos can’t spread onto.
Grey Goo
The main feature of this mod. This block will spread onto any adjacent blocks very quickly if stepped upon. It will not decay over time.
Purple Goo
This block will spread extremely fast onto adjacent blocks and decay over time. Eventually it will create massive holes in the ground and will not stop until the whole world is destroyed.
Those are just a few of the many goo blocks that The Grey Goo mod adds. There are some pretty crazy ones, like being able to spread into the air, mining goo that only affects dirt and stone and many, many more! Stevenrs11 certainly has done a great job on making one of those very simple mechanics in the modding world far more interesting. Believe me, this mod is a joy to play with. Install this once and you will forget all about tnt; instead you’ll be getting all the different goo blocks and seeing how you can completely obliterate you world! Have fun!

How to Install Grey Goo Mod for Minecraft 1.3.1
- Download and install Modloader.
- Download the Grey Goo Mod.
- Drag the contents of the .Zip into your minecraft.jar
- Enjoy!
