Clearly riding wolves in Minecraft is the best idea in years, I was heart broken when I figured out it wasn’t going to happen! Well that was until the release of this mod!
Rideable Controllable Wolves Mod for Minecraft 1.4.2 Main Features
- Wolves have to be tamed as normal, but afterwards- Once you jump and right click you can ride a wolf!
- The wolf travels at the same speed as the player, but if you jump while on the wolf it will go faster!
- The wolf can’t attack foes while you are on its back, and it will take increased fall damage!
- Unfortunately, the wolf can still be attacked by its rider while mounted!

- PROS: This mod takes a feature that is already in the game and improves it, this means that the installation is fairly simple as no files are changed. The realistic physics really make this a great overall mod!
- CONS: Wolves at times can cause graphical glitches with the player. This mod may not be compatible with some other mods. The fact that the wolf can be attacked by its rider can decrease player satisfaction as it can be a problem.
How to Install Rideable Controllable Wolves Mod for Minecraft 1.4.2
- The installation for this mod is very simple! You do not need MODLOADER, so no need to worry there! All you need to do is download the latest version of this mod and drag and drop the mod files into your Minecraft.jar
- Then delete the META-INF file! (NO CHANGELOGS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THIS MOD)
