Featherlight Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.2.3

Greetings player! The Featherlight texture pack for Minecraft 1.2.3 by TheSheWolf is a 64x resolution texture that aims to provide a “light & realistic” experience for Minecraft players. What that means is that it will try to give you a realistic texture (which normally takes a 128x resolution) without lagging the crap out of your computer or crashing the game itself. It’s a complete reskin of everything, even the UI. And that’s basically it. In this version, different colors of wool are changed to different styles of tile so maybe you can put that to use in some castle your building, but remember other people will only see them as colored wools. And it is RandoMobs compatible!

I have to say TheSheWolf has done a decent job on creating the Featherlight Texture Pack as it actually does give you a smooth, photo-realistic texture, but in my opinion it might not be that cup of coffee for those people (including me) who favor the unique, pixelated sandbox world of Minecraft. Having it be too realistic can make things ugly. BUT if you’re the one who actually wants a realistic Minecraft,  Featherlight will certainly be a good choice for a 64x resolution. But beware, this texture pack might increase the creepy factor of mobs that will follow you and haunt you. So why not give it a go?Featherlight Texture Pack
