Thanks to 2XMM2 who have brought to you the Nostalgia-Craft Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.4! As you may have noticed, Minecraft have had many alterations to its default texture pack especially the colors of the grass which is now completely different from what it was like when Minecraft was still in alpha versions.
So 2XMM2 have created a new texture pack using the textures from the old version. Don’t worry if you are a new player. You might not feel nostalgic as old players do, but hey, wouldn’t it be worth a try to see how Minecraft was like before.However, don’t expect to see such fancy adventurous themes.
I’d say for those people who dislike what the Mojang team has done to the default texture pack, this Nostalgia-Craft texture pack will bring you back to that bright shocking green grassy world of Minecraft. It is very much worth a try for both old and new players just to know the feel and know how Minecraft was like in alpha versions.
How to install Nostalgia-Craft for Minecraft 1.4.2
- Download Nostalgia-Craft for Minecraft 1.4.2
- Run /%appdata%/.minecraft/texturepacks
- Place the .zip file there without unzipping
- Change to Nostalgia-Craft in Minecraft
- Enjoy!
