R3D.CRAFT Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.2.5

Wow… just wow. Everything you love about the default pack but with so much detail! Every little piece of the textures are so detailed! UniBlue media, a popular minecraft cinematic creator on youtube has created this amazing texture pack for all of us to enjoy! Basically, it takes the default texture and gives it so much depth and detail it will probably blow up your computer (when using the 512x). The amount of detail he’s put into these textures is insane and very, very neat. The pack is really only enjoyable when using atleast the 128×128 version but it’s definitely worth it if you have a good computer you think can handle it! How UniBlue has managed to pull off making the default 8-bit textures look so real and have so much life is incredible. Have a look at the close up of the workbench texture compared to the default:

Amazing! If you’re not impressed yet then fine, I’ll throw more epicness at you!

It’s incredible! It just gives minecraft so much more life while still keeping in touch with that default 8-bit style. One thing to note is that this pack is still a WIP. Wen it was first announced it was 50% done. Now it’s 80% done and almost all of the important textures are all finished. My favourite textures are the chests and the wooden planks. I love how the chests look so much! I don’t really know why, they just have a lot of depth. Ah, yes… deph. This pack does not only make the textures look more realistic but they also pop out at you. There is so much depth in these textures they really feel 3D

This is one of my personal favourites. Sadly, my computer can’t really handle the super high definition version without getting close to blowing up but if any of you out there have a real good computer there is no real reason why you wouldn’t get this pack! I highly recommend it to anyone with one of those sweet Geforce 680 cards!

  1. I followed the instructions, but when I start Minecraft and go to Texture Packs, there are no other options besides the Defualt.
