We all love blowing stuff up. We also all love doing it for free! I’m sure a lot of people will be familiar with the popular wacky FPS free to play team vs team game; Team Fortress 2. Well, someone has decided to be an awesome person and bring TF2 into Minecraft! This texture pack re-textures everything to make you feel like you’re playing one of valves most popular titles again! Unfortunately I can’t clearly state who made this pack as it is posted by lilcheeselad and he states his friend made this. So, lilcheeselad’s Friend I guess!
Anyway, lets go over the pack. First thing you’re probably going to notice is the GUI. The health hearts look like the medic cross’s in TF2 and the hunger bar looks like the power up bar. I personally think it looks great! The wood has an orange tinge and looks very battered up; much like in TF2. All of the metal blocks are in cased in crates (diamond block, iron block etc) which is very TF2 styled. One of my favourite things however, which isn’t the best thing but still my favourite, is the fact that in the GUI you have titles in the same TF2 font. Your inventory says BACKPACK with that really… well, TF2 like font!
Love the pack, all out just love it. Brilliant for doing PVP battles with your friends or anything of the like. Over all the developer has done a great job on bringing the craziness of TF2 into minecraft, all at the same time giving it to us in 32×32!
How to Install Team Fortress 2 HD Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.2.5
- Install either MCPatcher or Optifine.
- Download Team Fortress 2 HD.
- Place the .Zip into your texture packs folder.
- Enjoy!
