ScotTools API for Minecraft 1.3.2

Imagine you’ve just downloaded a new, exciting map. You’re fond of mining and you use your shiny new diamond axe to go mine some vital ores. But wait, you notice something: your diamond axe is operating at the same speed as a wooden one!

Don’t you feel frustrated when ores take an unreasonable time to break despite having the best axes available? It is quite nerve-racking when, in some maps, you have a diamond axe but ores take too long to break. What is the point of a good axe, then? If you have faced these frustrations then worry not, Scokeev9′s “ScotTools” is the right mod for you.

ScotTools allows all tools (specifically pickaxes) to mine with the appropriate block-break speed.  In other words, this mod allows better pickaxes to break ores faster. This is especially useful if some mod – such as Alblaka’s IndustrialCraft – has technical issues with the block-break speed.

ScotTools also enables you to create new tools using customized speed, durability, etc, without having to modify any class files. One can also set block-harvest requirements so that some ores may be mined only with your tools. Corrects block-break speed error effectively; Simple and useful tool coupled with extensive compatibility. While it is a very useful mod, it would’ve been nice to add something extra than simply correcting block-break speed. More variety of functions would make this a top-class mod.
