i can never seem to find diamonds this way… i start by making a staircase to the bedrock… then i dig around for a cae/dungeon and boom… i usually find diamonds in every cave

You are /.//.$.0.//.[. but i think you should explore more to try to make weapons, armors,etc. and go into a cave where monsters rise and try to conquer their teritory stopping them rising there anymore
