  4. Xtreme hills snows too much, I hate snow. Swamplands are too hard to
navigate, gosh darn lily-pads and water! Plains have grass, and I really
really dislike the grass. Taiga snows too much, I hate snow. Desert’s sand
is real annoying. Forest is perfect. Mesa is good. Jungle is too hard to
move around in and clear space in. Svanna has too much darn grass and not
    pretty colors.

  5. I have to say the ocean is the best for it has many trees, mobs, villages,
and even TONS of grass! Dont forget it had a lot of water!

Just FYI for you haters, this comment was a joke I know oceans suck for
    building.

    Forest Biome.

  18. Dry farming is entirely possible. The crops grow slower but that isn’t too
big a deal unless you’re extremely active.
I find its best to take care of my food first then worry about comforts.
If I have an abundance of wood then I’m set. Typically I farm trees to
smelt them into charcoal. I don’t even bother hunting down coal out of the
ground but if I run across it I’ll grab it up.

  19. I like these new kinds of videos. They give a nice overview, and even an
expert player like myself (Since Alpha), I find certain things interesting.
Things I never really thought about.

  20. i made my house in a jungle but harvested all of the trees and hills in the

  22. “lack of water in deserts” minecraft deserts are full of water for some
reason (even after they “fixed” it) there even was a little pond close to
you when you said it. Hope Microsoft actually knows how a desert looks
    like.

  23. I’ve enjoyed making homes in extreme hills that are nearby
forests/swamps/plains. They usually provide all the resources I need and
being up on the hills gives a nice view. The only problem is snow if you
build high which isn’t too terribly bad, I’ve used torches to prevent water
from icing over and such. Another small issue is Silverfish but once I
realized that silverfish egg blocks take longer to mine they aren’t too
    much of a pain anymore.
