Minecraft can often become to simple, basic or even boring. Not because of its unique gameplay, but because of its simplistic texturepack. I do not speak for everyone when I say this, however sometimes all that is needed to spice things up is a nice looking texturepack. Texturepacks such as the; Jolicraft texturepack for minecraft 1.4.5, is one of a kind. Texturepacks that have been made such as how the Jolicraft texturepack was are often named pieces of art. This is simply because such a texturepack has been created by its artist to the best of his/hers ability. An intense amount of time, work, and effort must be implemented into the texturepack if expecting a great result. However it also comes down to the artist and his ability to edit replace the textures with their own amazing, new textures. Not to mention how the textures have been created and to what resolution.
The Jolicraft texturepack for minecraft 1.4.5, is an amazing texturepack. By replacing the simplistic, original textures that minecraft comes with at the beginning. This is also called the default texturepack. The Jolicraft texturepack uses a single theme that the artwork has been based on. Said theme has been motivated around an almost cartoony, roleplay theme. Both of these aspects work extremely well together and this is only possible if the artist has put an extraordinary amount of effort into not only the raw artwork the texturepack holds, but also its theme and motivational idea.
