u need the pink pickaxe made from obsidian, iron, and aluminum look in the smelting book for amounts

You need an Alumite Pickaxe. Alumite is made by smelting together 2 iron ingots, 2 obsidian ingots [It’s very useful to smelt Obsidian into ingots as you get a more precise measurement] and 5 tin. After that, make a pickaxe with your casts

That will allow you to mine Aobalt and Ardite. Smelt cobalt and alumite to get Manyullyn, which is the most advanced alloy you can get with Tinkers’ Construct. Cobalt and Ardite are hard to fine Nether ores, so do be careful with your new pick!
