[1.11.2] un-Complete The Monument Map Download

un-Complete the Monument is based off of the idea of a CTM map, but that is where the similarities end. Instead of completing the monument with wool blocks, you must destroy all of the blocks that make it up using several different tools. You also must use the elytra to fly around and get each of these tools from where they are located.

Each block in the monument has a corresponding tool that can destroy it. These tools are made of gold and enchanted with Efficiency V for your convenience. Each tool has a small floating island where it is located; these islands are marked with the type of block that tool can destroy so you can easily find the island you’re looking for.

In order to get a tool, you need to hit a button on its island. However, the islands are small and can be hard to land on when you are traveling at high velocities. The islands are all identical in shape (see pictures), but are pointing in different directions and therefore will often require different strategies and amounts of skill to figure out how to press the button.

There are also several items in your inventory that will give you five seconds of various status effects. These can be used to make your tasks easier.

Once you have acquired a tool, you must take it back to the monument and destroy the correct block – while still floating in the air. You should keep in mind that you can destroy a block while directly above or below it so you don’t float too far away.

Once you have done this process for all of the blocks, you can press the reset button to rebuild the monument and try again.

This map was designed for a single player in adventure mode. Having multiple players will make the challenge easier but I cannot guarantee that all of the commands will work properly with more than one.
