[1.4.7] Old Book Recipe Mod Download

Do you like some of the older recipes in Minecraft before the new wave of updates?  Did you prefer some of the older ways things worked before the barrage of constant changes and the onslaught of potentially confusing tweaks?  Old Book Recipe Mod is something you might be interested in if you want to relive some of the older days of Minecraft.  This mod is very simple in that what it does is bring back the old school Minecraft book recipe to the current version without modifying the class files which is helpful for Forge and creates a simple way to make your books again in survival mode.  Its just finding cane, creating paper sheets and in a work bench, you just place the pieces of the paper entities in top of each other in a single column.

Just stack paper in a single column to create books unlike the non animal friendly leather bound recipe of the latest versions!  This version was added in the 12w17a Prerelease update, so its been only a few months of the sort of weird feeling new recipe, leaving yearlong and more players confused.  No more!

If you are wanting the old school recipe for your books and want a simple fix, this mod is perfect for what you are trying to do.

Old Book Recipe Mod Main Features
